In its 2nd year KAABOO returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds from September 16-18. The three-day music and comedy festival promotes itself as a “mix-perience” for adults to enjoy world-class music, comedy, cuisine, libations and contemporary art.
After debuting last September with a lineup that included No Doubt, Zac Brown Band, Neon Trees and The Killers, KAABOO Del Mar has already made a name for itself. That’s a tough lineup to top, but somehow KAABOO has. For round 2 of KAABOO, more than 100 musical acts will take to 7 stages. You can hear Jimmy Buffett, Aerosmith, Gregg Allman, Lenny Kravitz, and Jack Johnson - just to name a few! This music experience combines international headliners, crowd favorites and emerging artists.
In addition to to the music, KAABOO will feature celebrity and local chefs from high quality restaurants, wine selections from top California vineyards, craft breweries, craft distillers, mixologists and more. There will also be a comedy stage and an afterhours dance party with performances and award-winning DJs. Oh, and did we mention the amenities? Plenty of shade, seating and flushable toilets [no porta-potties!] - you can even purchase a cabana or single entry to Bask, a specially designed sandy beach area with a pool and bar!
And we get to experience and enjoy KAABOO for years to come. Their new contract will let the upscale music, comedy, food and drink festival take place for [at least] the next five years to come. Are YOU ready to KAABOO?
